How long will it take to get my porcelain veneers?
Porcelain veneers are custom made for each person so that they correct all of your specific problems. This also means that it takes some time for your porcelain veneers to be fabricated. On average, it will take a couple visits to Dr. Goodrick’s office.
During the first visit, your teeth will be prepared for your porcelain veneers, an impression will be taken of your teeth, and temporary veneers will be placed over the prepared teeth.
Once Dr. Goodrick has received the porcelain veneers from the dental lab, he will have you return to the office and approve the porcelain veneers or make changes to their design. After the porcelain veneers have been approved, they will be bonded to your teeth.
How long will my porcelain veneers last?
Porcelain veneers are constructed out of very durable, stain resistant porcelain that looks just like your natural teeth so that they will last you many years without needing replacement or touch-up work.
Your porcelain veneers can even last a lifetime as long as you keep proper care of them by maintaining good oral hygiene and scheduling routine dental check-ups and cleanings.
How much do porcelain veneers cost?
Since porcelain veneers are custom made to correct your unique dental problems, they are not inexpensive. However, Dr. Goodrick provides patients with many different payment options, including financing options and credits cards. What are come of the risks or complications of porcelain veneers?
If an experienced cosmetic dentist like Dr. Goodrick places your porcelain veneers, then risks and complications are very small. However, having porcelain veneers by a dentist not trained in advanced cosmetic techniques, you could face risks like poor esthetics, inadequate bond strengths, and an overall dissatisfaction with results.
