Does BriteSmile™ tooth whitening hurt?
No. BriteSmile™ tooth whitening is a painless procedure that is completed in just one hour. The gel used in BriteSmile™ tooth whitening is safe, and pain free and the special light used does not emit UV rays. With BriteSmile™ tooth whitening there are no lasers, scraping, or vibration involved when whitening your teeth.
How does BriteSmile™ tooth whitening work?
BriteSmile™ tooth whitening uses safe and effective 15% hydrogen peroxide gel to whiten your teeth. This gel penetrates the deep stains in your teeth that are not affected as well by over the counter products. As the gel works its way into the stains, the special blue BriteSmile™ tooth whitening light activates the gel and breaks up the stains in your teeth, leaving them up to 14 shade whiter than before the treatment.
How long does BriteSmile™ tooth whitening take?
BriteSmile™ tooth whitening is performed in a little over an hour. First, Dr. Goodrick will examine your teeth. He will identify any areas of concern and let you know what to expect from the procedure. You will then brush gently with a pre-whitening toothpaste. Special lip refractors and positioners are used to achieve the broadest coverage by the light. All your lips and gums are protected and the special BriteSmile™ tooth whitening gel is applied. You have 3 (three) 20 minute sessions. Depending on the starting shade of your teeth, you could achieve a difference of up to 14 shades whiter than before.
What are the advantages of BriteSmile™ tooth whitening over other tooth bleaching products?
BriteSmile™ tooth whitening is safe, fast, and effective. Unlike over the counter and other teeth whitening products, BriteSmile™ tooth whitening is actually healthy for the gums, it is completed in just a one-hour visit to Dr. Goodrick, and it can whiten your teeth much more than other teeth whitening products.
The BriteSmile™ tooth whitening procedure has been proven to aid gums by eliminating harmful bacteria that cause gingivitis and other periodontal diseases.
BriteSmile™ tooth whitening is also performed in just a one-hour visit. During your BriteSmile™ tooth whitening visit, you will be able to relax in our cosmetic dentistry office with heated massage pads and neck pillows, as well as music or television.
Lastly, BriteSmile™ tooth whitening is much more effective than other products or over the counter treatments.
